Practice Makes Perfect: Open Play 2 hours | Open play session | $5 fee Length: 2 hours Format: Open play (no instruction) Location: 5 Plant Avenue Fee: $5 per person (space + use of tiles) Our Open Play sessions provide dedicated table space and a welcoming environment for players who want practice, repetition, and community. This session is designed for players who already know how to play American Mah Jongg and want uninterrupted time to play full games. There is no instruction during Open Play, but tile sets are available to use, and tables are set up so you can jump right in. Open Play is all about practice. The more you play, the more comfortable the game becomes. What to Expect -2 hours of uninterrupted Mah Jongg play -Tile sets provided (or feel free to bring your own) -A relaxed, social environment with other players -No instruction or coaching included Who This Is For -Players who know the basics and want more table time -Graduates of Intro or Guided Play classes -Anyone looking for a consistent place to practice and play Please Note -The $5 Open Play fee covers the space and use of tile sets and applies whether you use ours or bring your own. -A current National Mah Jongg League card is required. Cards are not included and must be brought or purchased on site for $16. -No refunds for Open Play sessions. -Feel free to bring non-messy snacks. -Payment is required upon arrival via cash or Venmo.
