Masterminds is our structured, spirited Mah Jongg league in St. Louis for players who know the NMJL rules and are ready for fun, competitive play in a welcoming environment. It is perfect for players who already know the basics of mahjong and want regular play. Think friendly competition, weekly bragging rights, and a little extra focus at the table. Each league night is hosted by Mah Jongg Minds, with announcements, weekly mini-prizes, and a little celebration whenever someone calls Mah Jongg. If you can navigate the Charleston, exposures, and scoring confidently — you’re ready. Most Masterminds players are still sharpening their strategy — the goal is to learn, compete, and have fun along the way.
